  • Operate machine and check for any mechanical problems
  • Inspect unit for any loose, missing, or damaged parts
  • Notify customer of any non-service repairs or parts needed
  • Change engine oil and filters (if applicable)
  • Replace and gap spark plug
  • Drain and flush fuel tank and lines (if applicable)
  • Replace fuel filter (if applicable)
  • Replace air filter/s (if applicable)
  • Blow out cooling fins and engine shrouds
  • Inspect/adjust belts
  • Inspect/adjust tensioner/s and pulley/s
  • Inspect/adjust cable/s and controls
  • Lubricate/grease (if applicable)
  • Inspect/test recoil, rope conditions and functions
  • Sharpen and balance mower blades
  • Clean mower deck (debris and clippings)
  • Add fresh fuel
  • Test run and adjust carb/governor
  • Test run and adjust controls/cables
  • Wash unit
  • Final operation and safety check
